Wart Treatment with Aldara
To treat you warts with imiquimod (Aldara),
apply a small amount of medication directly to the wart and cover it completely. You can
apply the medication using either a Q-tip or your finger (wash hands after). Then cover
the wart with a band aid. Do this each night. The goal is to achieve a small amount of redness
in the area. If you notice that the area is becoming extremely red or has substantial
peeling, you should stop using the medication for several days. When you resume you should
use less medication. Continue as long as directed by your dermatologist.
